SC1120V: Corporate Income Tax Payment Voucher (Revision 2022-05)
South Carolina · South Carolina DOR · Used for tax years 2024, 2025, 2026
Form SC1120-V is South Carolina’s Corporate Income Tax Payment Voucher. It identifies the corporation, FEIN, tax period, and payment amount for a balance due on a Corporate Tax Return.
Who files this form
Use SC1120-V to mail a payment if you filed your Corporate Tax Return electronically and have a balance due.
- If you pay online, do not mail SC1120-V.
- If you file your Corporate Tax Return on paper and have a balance due, send your payment with the return. Do not send a separate payment with SC1120-V.
- If you owe $15,000 or more in connection with any SCDOR return, you must file and pay electronically.
What you'll need
To complete the paper voucher, have your corporation’s name, address, Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN), Income Tax period ending, and balance due on your Corporate Tax Return ready.
For a mailed payment, make your check payable to SCDOR. Include your name, FEIN, tax year, and SC1120-V in the memo line.
To pay online, enter your FEIN and legal business name, then provide the required payment information. No MyDORWAY account or additional paperwork is required to pay.
If you want to sign up for a MyDORWAY account, you will need:
- Your FEIN or SSN
- Your SCDOR File Number
- A Letter ID or a copy of your last return
How to file
Pay online
- Visit dor.sc.gov/pay and select Business Income Tax Payment.
- Enter your FEIN and legal business name, and select Corporation Tax.
- Select Return Payment.
- Enter the required information and select a payment method.
- Complete the steps for that payment method.
Do not mail a paper SC1120-V if you pay online. If you owe $15,000 or more in connection with any SCDOR return, you must file and pay electronically.
Pay by mail after filing your return electronically
- Use black ink on the voucher and your check.
- Enter your FEIN, name, address, and Income Tax period ending in MM-YY format.
- Enter the payment amount in whole dollars without a dollar sign. The form gives 154.00 as an example. The amount should match the balance due on your Corporate Tax Return.
- Make your check payable to SCDOR and include your name, FEIN, tax year, and SC1120-V in the memo. Do not send cash.
- Mail the voucher and payment in one envelope. Do not include a paper copy of your electronically filed return.
Send them to:
SCDOR, Corporate Voucher
PO Box 100153
Columbia, SC 29202
If you file your Corporate Tax Return on paper, submit payment with that return instead of mailing a separate payment with SC1120-V.
Common mistakes
- Mailing SC1120-V after paying online. The form says not to send a paper voucher for an online payment.
- Including a paper copy of an electronically filed return with the voucher. Do not include it.
- Mailing payment separately with SC1120-V when filing a paper return. Send payment with the paper return instead.
- Using ink other than black on the paper voucher or check.
- Entering a payment amount that does not match the balance due on the Corporate Tax Return.
- Sending cash or leaving the required identifying information off the check’s memo line.
- Not paying the total tax due by the original due date. The form warns that penalty and interest will result until the return is filed and the full tax is paid.
