CT-647: Farm Workforce Retention Credit (2024)
New York · NY DTF · Used for tax years 2024
Form CT-647 is used by corporations to claim New York’s Farm Workforce Retention Credit with their franchise tax return. It reports eligible farm employee information, calculates the credit, and records any credit allocated from partnerships.
Who files this form
Form CT-647 is for C corporations and New York S corporations claiming the farm workforce retention credit, either for a credit they earned or for a share received from a partnership.
Corporations claiming a credit they earned must complete the worksheet specified on the form:
- Form CT-3 and CT-3-A filers: Worksheet A.
- Form CT-3-S filers: Worksheet B.
Line B asks whether Worksheet A, line 12, or Worksheet B, line 14, is at least 0.6667. If you answer No, the form says to stop because you do not qualify for the credit.
