Add the qualifying current-year tax on line 1a, partnership credits on line 1b, and unused credit from the preceding period on line 2. Enter the total on line 3.

Where do I report credits allocated from partnerships?

List each partnership’s name, EIN, and allocated credit amount in Schedule D. Enter the total on line 16 and on line 1b.

Who can use the refund or overpayment credit section?

Schedule C is labeled for Article 9-A taxpayers only. It includes lines for the amount eligible for refund or credit, the amount to be refunded, and the amount to be credited as an overpayment. The form refers filers to the instructions for these calculations.
