BET-CW: Business Enterprise Tax Credit Worksheet (2025)
New Hampshire · New Hampshire DRA · Used for tax years 2025
The 2025 New Hampshire Business Enterprise Tax Credit Worksheet calculates the BET credit applied to Business Profits Tax (BPT). It lists available credits from BET paid and prior taxable periods, the amounts applied to BPT, and excess credits.
What you'll need
Have these records available to complete the worksheet:
- Your taxpayer name, taxpayer identification number, and taxable period.
- Your Business Profits Tax (BPT) return. Worksheet Line 1 uses Line 19 of NH-1120-WE or Line 12 of other BPT forms.
- Your Business Enterprise Tax (BET) return. Worksheet Line 3 uses the BET tax paid amount from Line 7.
- Records of BET credit carryovers from the ten prior taxable periods.
- Form DP-160, if applicable. The worksheet references Part A, Line 4 and Part B, Line 10.
Common mistakes
- Using carryovers out of order. The worksheet directs you to use carryforward amounts in the printed order: the tenth prior taxable period through the first prior taxable period.
- Missing the special rule for DP-160 credits. Normally, Line 2 totals Column B, Lines 3 through 13, for BPT return Line 20(a) on NH-1120-WE or Line 13(a) on other BPT forms. If DP-160 credits exist, use DP-160, Part B, Line 10 instead, and apply it on Line 20(b) of NH-1120-WE or Line 13(b) of other BPT forms.
