MO-1041V: Fiduciary Income Tax Payment Voucher (2024)
Missouri · Missouri DOR · Used for tax years 2024
Form MO-1041V is Missouri's 2024 Fiduciary Income Tax Payment Voucher for an estate or trust. It identifies the estate or trust, tax period, and payment amount so the payment can be applied to the correct account.
Who files this form
Use Form MO-1041V if you owe an amount on an electronically filed Fiduciary Income Tax Return, or if you do not submit payment in full when you file Form MO-1041.
Do not use this voucher for extension payments. Use Form MO-60, Application for Extension of Time to File, instead.
When it's due
For tax year 2024, the voucher states that full payment must be submitted by April 15, 2025 to avoid interest and an addition to tax for failure to pay.
The form also states that the return and payment are due by the 15th day of the fourth month following the end of the income tax year. If that due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, filing on the next business day is considered timely.
What you'll need
To complete and send the voucher, have:
- The estate or trust’s name and Federal Employer Identification Number.
- The taxable year ending date and due date.
- The fiduciary’s name and title, plus the address, city, state, and ZIP code.
- The payment amount in whole dollars.
- A check or money order in U.S. funds payable to the “Missouri Department of Revenue.”
How to file
- Complete the entire voucher. Print in black or dark blue ink.
- Enter the payment amount on Line 1 in whole dollars. It must match the amount of your check.
- Attach a check or money order payable to the “Missouri Department of Revenue,” in U.S. funds only.

Common mistakes
- Using this voucher for an extension payment. Use Form MO-60 instead.

- Sending cash or submitting electronic payments. The form directs you to attach a check or money order in U.S. funds.
- Postdating your check. The form says it will be cashed upon receipt.
- Leaving identifying information off the payment. Include the estate or trust’s name, Federal Employer Identification Number, and “2024 MO Fiduciary Income Tax.”
