Who files this form
Use Form 70-698 to request copies of Mississippi tax returns. The request may be signed by the taxpayer or a person authorized to obtain the returns.
For a joint individual income tax return, both spouses’ names and Social Security numbers are required, but either spouse may sign. Anyone signing on behalf of the taxpayer must certify that they have authority to do so.
