CIFT-620: Corporation Income Tax Return / related Franchise or S Corporation filing (2024)
Louisiana · Louisiana LDR · Used for tax years 2024
Form CIFT-620 is Louisiana’s corporation income tax return for 2024 and corporation franchise tax return for 2025. It reports Louisiana taxable income, the franchise taxable base, tax credits, payments, and any tax due or overpayment.
What you'll need
Have these details ready to complete the return:
- Your LDR account number, federal employer identification number (FEIN), legal name, mailing address, and NAICS code.
- Income, deduction, asset, liability, and capital figures for the applicable schedules, including federal net income information for Schedule F.
- Amounts of tax credits, prior-year credit carryforwards, estimated payments, and extension payments.
Include all completed applicable schedules and any barcode page printed when the return is completed online. Attach supporting schedules wherever the form requests them, including for a loss carryforward on Line 1C.
Schedule A also requires ownership details and attached entity lists when its ownership questions are answered yes. If the corporation's income includes disregarded entities, it requires an attached list of all those entities' names, addresses, and FEINs.
How to file
Complete all applicable schedules. An officer must sign the return and provide the requested officer information on page 3. The form also includes a paid preparer section.
Mail all three pages of the return, completed schedules, and any barcode page printed when the return is completed online to:
Louisiana Department of Revenue

Common mistakes
- Using a FEIN in the LDR account number field. The form specifically says to enter your LDR account number there, not your FEIN.
- Mailing an incomplete return package. All three return pages must be mailed with completed schedules and any barcode page printed when the return is completed online.
- Skipping applicable schedules. The form reminds filers that all applicable schedules must be completed.
- Sending cash. The form expressly says not to send cash.
- Abbreviating a foreign nation's name. The address field says not to abbreviate it.
