When it's due
- 2025 tax year, calendar-year filers: The printed return due date is April 15. The automatic six-month filing extension allows filing until October 15.
- 2025 tax year, fiscal-year filers: The return is due on the fifteenth day of the fourth month after the tax year ends. The automatic extension gives you six additional months to file.
- If the due date falls on a weekend or legal holiday, payment is due the next business day.
