141AZEXT: Application for Filing Extension for Fiduciary Returns (2024)
Arizona · Arizona DOR · Used for tax years 2024
Arizona Form 141AZ EXT is used to request a filing extension for an estate or trust’s fiduciary return. It reports 2024 tax liability, Arizona estimated tax payments, the balance of tax, and any payment sent with the request.
Who files this form
Form 141AZ EXT is for fiduciaries requesting an extension to file Arizona Form 141AZ for an estate or trust.
Arizona grants an automatic 5½-month filing extension to fiduciaries filing Form 141AZ. Arizona also accepts a valid federal extension for the period it covers. If you are using a federal extension, this form can be used to send your Arizona extension payment.
When it's due
For tax year 2024 calendar-year filers:
- April 15, 2025: Your filing extension request must be postmarked by this date.
- September 30, 2025: Extended return due date under the automatic 5½-month fiduciary filing extension.
- October 15, 2025: Extended return due date for a Qualified Funeral Trust using a federal extension on Form 7004, which allows a 6-month extension.
