140ES-SBI: Small Business Income Estimated Tax Payment (2024)
Arizona · Arizona DOR · Used for tax years 2024
Arizona Form 140ES-SBI is used to mail individual estimated income tax payments for small business income for 2024. It records the payment amount and quarter and includes a worksheet for computing estimated payments.
Who files this form
Use Form 140ES-SBI to mail an individual estimated income tax payment for an Arizona Small Business Income Tax Return for tax year 2024. Do not use it to make delinquent income tax payments.
The worksheet says you do not need to make 2024 estimated payments if line 11 is zero. If line 11 has an amount, it directs you to complete lines 12 through 15 to calculate your required estimated payments.
If you pay electronically, do not mail this form.
When it's due
For tax year 2024 calendar-year filers, the payment deadlines are:
- 1st quarter: April 15, 2024.
- 2nd quarter: June 15, 2024, extended to June 17, 2024 because June 15 falls on a weekend.
- 3rd quarter: September 15, 2024, extended to September 16, 2024 because September 15 falls on a weekend.
- 4th quarter: January 15, 2025.
For fiscal-year filers using the 2024 form, payments are due on the 15th day of the fourth, sixth and ninth months of the current fiscal year, and the 15th day of the first month of the next fiscal year.
If a due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, the form allows payment by midnight on the next business day.
What you'll need
To complete the payment form, have:
- Your name, Social Security number, current home address and daytime phone number.
- Your spouse’s name and Social Security number if filing jointly.
- The filing status used on your Small Business Income Tax Return.
- The payment amount and the quarter it covers.
- A check or money order if paying by mail.
To use the estimated-payment worksheet, have the estimated tax worksheet attached to IRS Form 1040ES and the small-business-income amounts from federal Schedules B, C, D, E and F, plus Form 4797 amounts not reported on Schedule D. You will also need applicable addition, subtraction and credit amounts.
The worksheet asks for your preceding-year Arizona tax liability if you were required to file and did file a return for that year. It also accounts for any 2023 overpayment applied to the installment due April 15, 2024.
