Alaska · Alaska DOR · Used for tax years 2024, 2025, 2026

Form 6240 is a payment voucher for Alaska corporation net income tax, including oil and gas corporation net income tax. It identifies the taxpayer, tax year, payment type, and payment amount. It is not an extension form.

Who files this form

Form 6240 accompanies a check payment for Alaska corporation net income tax when making an estimated tax payment, a payment with an extension of time to file, or a payment of a Department of Revenue assessment.

The voucher also has a box for an amended return payment. It covers Alaska Corporation Net Income Tax (Form 6000) and Alaska Oil and Gas Corporation Net Income Tax (Form 6100 or 6150).

The form may also be used with an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or wire transfer payment.
